Subject: (Direct Referral) Communication sponsored by Mayor Mason submitting a veto of the Common Council's action on amendment #1 on item 1113-19, to wit:.
"$65,000 be allocated to the zoo from the contingency fund, thus restoring the zoo's allocation to last year's amount."
Decrease Expense 11202-56200 Misc. Contingency by 65,000 from 150,000 to 85,000
Increase Expense 15099-52100 Zoo-Professional Services by 65,000 from 500,000 to 565,000
If the Mayor’s veto is sustained, the Common Council may thereupon proceed to adopt a substitute.
Mayor Mason and Alder Levie sponsor the following proposed substitute:
"$65,000 be allocated to the zoo from the room tax fund".
Fiscal Note: Funds to be allocated as follows:
Increase 22860 49300 Fund Balance Applied $32,000
Increase 22860 52200 Contracted Services $32,000
The remaining $33,000 will be accounted for in funds already budgeted in account #22860 52200 Contracted Services
