Subject: Communication from the Director of City Development requesting permission to accept a Certified Local Government Historic Preservation Subgrant from the Wisconsin Historical Society to fund the preparation of Rehabilitation Design Guidelines for residential properties in Racine. Recommendation of the Planning, Heritage, and Design Commission on 03-24-21: That the request from the Director of City Development requesting permission to accept a Certified Local Government Historic Preservation Subgrant from the Wisconsin Historical Society to fund the preparation of Rehabilitation Design Guidelines for residential properties in Racine, be approved. Further that the Mayor, City Clerk, and/or Director of City Development, or their designees, be authorized to execute the necessary documents to receive the grant and have this work completed.
Recommendation of the Finance and Personnel Committee on 04-12-2021: That the request from the Director of City Development requesting permission to accept a Certified Local Government Historic Preservation Subgrant from the Wisconsin Historical Society to fund the preparation of Rehabilitation Design Guidelines for residential properties in Racine, be approved. Further that the Mayor, City Clerk, and/or Director of City Development, or their designees, be authorized to execute the necessary documents to receive the grant and have this work completed.
