Title: Subject: Communication sponsored by Alder Taft on behalf of the Fire Chief requesting authorization to execute a Memorandum of Understanding between the Racine Fire Department Mobile Integrated Health Care program and the Care Improvement Plus Wisconsin Insurance doing business as United Healthcare Community Plan for the delivery of post discharge patient visits. Recommendation of the Finance and Personnel Committee on 7-11-2022: That the Fire Chief be authorized to sign the Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of the fire department with United Health Care Community Plan. The proposed Memorandum of Understanding has been reviewed by the City Attorney’s office. Fiscal Note: This program will provide the fire department with $600 per member to locate and engage United members to be enrolled in the MIH High Utilizer Program and in addition United shall pay the fire department $300 per completed visit or a total of $900 per member for three completed visits.
