An ordinance to amend Chapter 62, Article II of the Municipal Code of the City of Racine, Wisconsin.
The Common Council of the City of Racine, Wisconsin, do ordain as follows:
Part 1: Amend Chapter 62, Article II, Section 62-26 of the Municipal Code of the City of Racine, Wisconsin, as follows:
Insert the following definitions in appropriate alphabetical-order placement:
Bisexual means people who are emotionally, romantically, or sexually attracted to more than one sex, gender, or gender identity though not necessarily simultaneously, in the same way or to the same degree.
Gay means a person who is emotionally, romantically, or sexually attracted to members of the same gender. Gay is often used to describe homosexual males, but lesbians may also be referred to as gay.
Gender identity means the actual or perceived gender-related identity, expression, appearance, or mannerisms, or other gender-related characteristics of an individual, regardless of the individual’s designated sex at | | |
