Recommendation of the Public Safety and Licensing Committee on 10-09-12: That the item be deferred until the next meeting and the applicant puts together a list of items that the members addressed as concerns and presents them at the next meeting.
1st - Recommendation of the Public Safety and Licensing Committee on 10-23-12: That the license application for a "Class B" Fermented Malt Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor License for R & B Latin Club, located at 1600 Douglas Avenue., Brenda Torres, Agent be denied due to concerns of security, and too many other alcohol licenses in the area.

2nd - Recommendation of the Public Safety and Licensing Committee on 10-23-12: That the application for a "Class B" Fermented Malt Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor License for R & B Latin Club, located at 1600 Douglas Avenue., Brenda Torres, Agent be approved subject to an agreement with the City Attorney to include: 25 and older; a signed letter from Mr. William (car wash owner) and proprietor that he has authorization to lease the spaced and number of spaces; digital security camera system with 30 days storage, covering all interior and exterior spaces; security as promised in the business plan; paving and striping the existing parking lot by June 30, 2013.
