The fiscal effect of the Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Grant is that the City is requesting $881,500 to support necessary public health and first responder overtime and staffing costs due to the COVID-19 crisis, public communications infrastructure to inform and update residents about the virus and risk-reduction strategies, purchase of needed protective equipment and supplies, translation of key prevention materials into Spanish, and printing and postage costs to mail important information to residents about the virus and how to prevent the spread of it in our community. There is no City match.
