1. Akash Food & Liquor, Inc. - Parminder K. Kaleka, Agent

Mr. Kaleka appeared and informed the committee he will be going to court on the citation on June 15, 2006.
Alderman Helding requested the item be deferred until after the June 15, 2006 court date.
2. Nagra Pump & Pantry, LLC - Sukwindar Nagra, Agent
1826 Douglas Avenue
Sukwinder Nagra appeared and informed the committee the clerk stated he did not sell alcohol and he had only been employed there a couple of weeks and is no longer working for their company.

3. Shree Krishna Enterprises, Inc. - Jadgish Patel, Agent
Arbee's Liquor - 2062 Lathrop Avenue
Jadgish Patel appeared and informed the committee his clerk realized after the sell that he had sold to a minor.

4. High Cone, Inc. - Ushah A. Shah, Agent
Open Pantry Food Mart - 704 High Street
Ms. Salas appeared and informed the committee both employees have been terminated.
Alderman Hermes requested the item be received and filed.
5. X-Press Food Mart - Vikram S. Desai, Agent
2418 Douglas Avenue
Mr. Desai appeared and informed the committee the employees are suppose to card everyone. He does not know why the customer had not been carded, but they have instructed their employees to card everyone.

6. H & S Mini Mart - Jamal-Eddin Dhaher
1003 Center Street
Mr. Dhaher did not appear.
Alderman Helding requested the item be deferred until the next meeting.
7. Georgetown Market - Edward J. Trudeau, Agent
3710 Meachem Road
Wendy Johnson appeared and informed the committee they are doing everything possible to keep these things from happening. They have a "zero" tolerance policy and the employee has been terminated. She stated the employees don't always ask the customers for identification and they use the override button to enter a birthdate. She wanted the committee to know they are doing everything possible to avoid these situations and if the committee could offer any suggestions, she would gladly try them.

Mr. Nagra appeared on item 2 above and was not requestioned by the committee on this incident.
