CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 1317 MAIDEN LANE

Body

RESOLVED, that a request by Juan Lopez seeking a Conditional Use Permit to operate an automobile detailing business at 1317 Maiden Lane be approved, subject to the following conditions:

 

a.                     That the plans stamped "Received October 26, 2005" and presented to the Plan Commission on November 9, 2005, be approved, subject to the conditions contained herein.

 

b.                     That prior to the issuance of an occupancy permit, the rear yard area shall be de-brushed and all waste materials, garbage and trash properly disposed of.

 

c.                     That by June 1, 2006, the overhead door shall be painted so as to match the color of the other overhead doors.

 

d.                     That the rear yard area be maintained in a brush-free manner and the parking area be regularly cleared of weeds.

 

e.                     That all signage be limited to one professionally made 2 feet by 3 feet panel positioned to the left of the main door, and individually lettered signage on the main door be professionally applied and not exceed 2 feet by 3 feet in area.

 

f.                     That the maximum hours that the establishment is open to the general public be from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m Monday through Saturday, with no hours on Sunday.

 

g.                     That all aspects of the operation shall be conducted indoors.

 

h.                     That no junked or inoperable vehicles be stored at this location and no vehicle salvage be conducted.

 

i.                     That vehicles awaiting detailing services shall be stored indoors.

 

j.                     That all employee and customer parking shall be contained on site at all times.  On-street parking or drop-off of vehicles awaiting detailing services is prohibited.

 

k.                     That vehicles associated with the detailing operations be positioned so as not to constrict traffic circulation on the property or hinder traffic flow on Maiden Lane.

 

l.                     That all trash and recyclables be stored in closed containers and screened from view.

 

m.                     That all codes and ordinances be complied with and required permits acquired.

 

n.                     That no minor changes be made from the conditions of this permit without the approval of the Plan Commission, and no major changes be made from the conditions of this permit without the approval of the Common Council.

 

o.                     That this permit is subject to Plan Commission review for compliance with the listed conditions.
