Title: Monthly Community Meal at 740 College Avenue Resolved, that the request by Dustan Balkcom, representing Living Light Community Center, seeking a conditional use amendment to allow for a monthly community meal to be served in the multi-use building at 740 College Avenue, is approved subject to the following conditions: a. That the plans presented to the Plan Commission on October 31, 2012, are approved subject to the conditions contained herein. b. That all applicable inspections and permits shall be obtained from the Health, Building Inspection, and any other required departments prior to commencement of the meal program. c. That a meal may be held one (1) Saturday per calendar month, between the hours of 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m

Monthly Community Meal at 740 College Avenue
 
Resolved, that the request by Dustan Balkcom, representing Living Light Community Center, seeking a conditional use amendment to allow for a monthly community meal to be served in the multi-use building at 740 College Avenue, is approved subject to the following conditions:
 
a. That the plans presented to the Plan Commission on October 31, 2012, are approved subject to the conditions contained herein.
 
b. That all applicable inspections and permits shall be obtained from the Health, Building Inspection, and any other required departments prior to commencement of the meal program.
 
c. That a meal may be held one (1) Saturday per calendar month, between the hours of 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m The applicant shall provide City Development the specific dates meals will be offered for each month per calendar year.
 
d. That meal patrons shall access the building only from the College Avenue entrance.
 
e. That only the cafĂ©, kitchen, lobby, and conference room may be used for the meal program.  All other areas of the building, except restrooms, shall be inaccessible to meal patrons.
 
f. That the applicant shall provide a detailed plan for management of individuals waiting meal service outside the building prior to the first meal being offered.  The plan shall be subject to the approval of the Director of City Development.
 
g. That the facility shall not serve guests under the age of 18 unless accompanied by an adult.
 
h. That there shall be no possession, use, or sale of alcoholic beverages or controlled substances on the premises.
 
i. That the facility shall have adequately trained on-site staff and volunteers during the hours of operation.
 
j. That all signage shall be reviewed and approved by the Department of City Development, and all required permits shall be acquired.
 
k. That no minor changes shall be made from the conditions of this permit without the approval of the Plan Commission, and no major changes shall be made from the conditions of this permit without the approval of the Common Council.
