The Common Council of the City of Racine do ordain as follows: Part 1: Sec. 22-1164 of the Municipal Code of the City of Racine is hereby repealed and recreated to read as follows: “Sec. 22-1164. Classes of licenses Licenses of the class specified in this section shall authorize a licensee to take charge of, operate and manage the equipment indicated, except that a holder of any class of license may operate equipment one class in excess of such license if such licensee is an assistant to a licensee holding the next superior license. To repeal and recreate Sec. 22-1164 of the Municipal Code of the City of Racine, Wisconsin relating to Chapter 22, Article XXX, Stationary Engineers, Division 3, License.
 
The Common Council of the City of Racine do ordain as follows:
 
Part 1:
 
Sec. 22-1164 of the Municipal Code of the City of Racine is hereby repealed and recreated to read as follows:
 
"Sec. 22-1164.  Classes of licenses
 
      Licenses of the class specified in this section shall authorize a licensee to take charge of, operate and manage the equipment indicated, except that a holder of any class of license may operate equipment one class in excess of such license if such licensee is an assistant to a licensee holding the next superior license.
 
      (1)      Chief power plant engineer's license: Low pressure steam or hydronic plant of any size; a high pressure plant of any size and a steam motive power plant of any size.
 
      (2)      First class power plant engineer's license: Low pressure steam or hydronic plant       of any size; a high pressure plant not exceeding 1,500 BHP; a motive power plant not exceeding 7,500 HP.
 
      (3)      Second class power plant engineer's license: A low pressure steam or hydronic plant of any size; a high pressure plant not exceeding 500 BHP; a motive power plant not exceeding 2,500 HP.
 
      (4)      Third class power plant operations engineer's license: A low pressure steam or hydronic plant of any size; a high pressure plant not exceeding 300 HP; a motive power plant not exceeding 1,000 HP.
 
      (5)      Second class facility operations engineer's license: A low pressure steam plant or a hydronic plant of any size; a high pressure steam plant not exceeding 110 BHP or a motive power plant not exceeding 500 BHP.
 
      (6)      Third class facility operations engineer: A low pressure steam or hydronic plant not exceeding 150 BHP; a high pressure steam plant not exceeding 25 BHP.
