Title: Permission granted to Racine County Convention and Visitors Bureau (Real Racine) to use City right-of-way for Superweek Bicycle Race on July 22, 2010 and upon execution of a Hold Harmless Agreement with the City Resolved, that the Racine County Convention and Visitors Bureau (Real Racine) be granted permission to close the following streets to hold the Superweek Bicycle Race on Thursday, July 22, 2010, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Main Street from State Street to Sixth Street, Third Street from Lake Avenue to Wisconsin Avenue, Wisconsin Avenue from Fourth Street to Sixth Street, Sixth Street from Wisconsin Avenue to Main Street; and to partially close lanes on the following streets: Lake Avenue from Third Street to Gaslight Drive, Gaslight Drive from Lake Avenue to Main Street, Wisconsin Avenue from Third Street to Fourth Street; with the following stipulations: A. A hold harmless agreement be executed. B. Proof of liability insurance be filed prior to this event. C. Any overtime...

Resolved, that the Racine County Convention and Visitors Bureau (Real Racine) be granted permission to close the following streets to hold the Superweek Bicycle Race on Thursday, July 22, 2010, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.,
 
Main Street from State Street to Sixth Street,
Third Street from Lake Avenue to Wisconsin Avenue,
Wisconsin Avenue from Fourth Street to Sixth Street,
Sixth Street from Wisconsin Avenue to Main Street;
 
and to partially close lanes on the following streets:
 
Lake Avenue from Third Street to Gaslight Drive,
Gaslight Drive from Lake Avenue to Main Street,
Wisconsin Avenue from Third Street to Fourth Street;
 
with the following stipulations:
 
A. A hold harmless agreement be executed.
B. Proof of liability insurance be filed prior to this event.
C. Any overtime costs incurred by any City department be charged to the sponsor.
D. The sponsor shall notify all abutting property owners seventy-two (72) hours in advance of this event.
E. Sponsor shall be responsible for the signing of the necessary detours for the State Highway route.
F. The sponsor shall pay a $650.00 special event fee.
 
Further resolved, that the Commissioner of Public Works/City Engineer and Chief of Police provide limited assistance, in the interest of public safety, to implement this event.
 
Fiscal Note:  There will be nominal costs to various City
