Title: Subject: Communication from the Commissioner of Public Works/City Engineer requesting permission to submit a grant application to the Urban Nonpoint Source and Storm Water grant program. (Res.09-1389) Recommendation of the Public Works and Services Committee on 4-28-09: That the Assistant Commissioner of Public Works/Engineering be authorized and directed to submit to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources an Urban Nonpoint Source and Storm Water Planning Grant Application for an upgrade to the water quality planning portion of the Storm Water Management Plan. The total amount of the grant request is $95,000.00 with the local share being $38,000.00. Further recommend that a resolution be adopted authorizing the Assistant Commissioner of Public Works/Engineering to sign and submit all paperwork to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources necessary to comply with this grant request. Fiscal Note: Funds are available for the City's share through the Storm Water Utility.
