The Common Council of the City of Racine do ordain as follows:

Part 1:

Sec. 98-33(a) of the Municipal Code of the City of Racine is hereby amended by adding the following phrase after the word "mayor,"  in the second sentence:  "or, in the mayor's absence, the city administrator,"….

Part 2:

This ordinance shall take effect upon passage and the day after publication.
