Title: STIPULATIONS FOR SALMON-A-RAMA EVENT RESOLVED, that Salmon-A-Rama be granted permission to close 5th Street from the Civic Centre Parking Ramp to Festival Park Drive, Festival Park Drive from 5th Street to Sam Johnson Parkway, and the turnaround adjacent to Christopher Columbus Causeway, on July 20-23, 2006, in accordance with their request. FURTHER RESOLVED, that permission be granted with the following stipulations: A. A hold harmless agreement be executed. B. Proof of liability insurance be filed prior to this event. C. Any overtime costs incurred by any City department be charged to the sponsor. D. The sponsor shall notify all abutting property owners seventy-two (72) hours in advance of this event. E. The sponsor shall pay a $300.00 special event fee. FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Commissioner of Public Works/City Engineer and Chief of Police provide limited assistance, in the interest of public safety, to implement this event. RESOLVED, that Salmon-A-Rama be granted permission to close 5th Street from the Civic Centre Parking Ramp to Festival Park Drive, Festival Park Drive from 5th Street to Sam Johnson Parkway, and the turnaround adjacent to Christopher Columbus Causeway, on July 20-23, 2006, in accordance with their request.

 

FURTHER RESOLVED, that permission be granted with the following stipulations:

 

A.  A hold harmless agreement be executed.

 

B.  Proof of liability insurance be filed prior to this event.

 

C.  Any overtime costs incurred by any City department be charged to the sponsor.

 

D.  The sponsor shall notify all abutting property owners seventy-two (72) hours in advance of this event.

 

E.  The sponsor shall pay a $300.00 special event fee.

FISCAL NOTE: There will be nominal costs to various City departments, on a regular shift basis, to assist in implementing this event.
