Title: Regatta - August 3, 2012 Resolved, that the communication from Racine Yacht Club and Catamaran Racing Association requesting permission to use city parking lots on Barker Street and the Rooney lot located immediately next to RYC in conjunction with a scheduled Regatta August 3, 2012 through August 12, 2012 and waiver of ordinance 70.104 for overnight parking of vehicles and trailers is approved. Further resolved, that permission is granted with the following stipulations: A. A hold harmless agreement be executed; B. Proof of liability insurance be filed prior to this event; C. Any overtime costs incurred by any City department be charged to the sponsor; Further resolved, that Ordinance 70-104 (overnight parking) be waived during the use of these lots. Further resolved, that the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department, and Chief of Police provide limited assistance, in the interest of public safety, to implement this event.
