Subject: Communication from Alder Coe submitting renewal requests for intoxicating liquor and fermented malt beverages for the 2020-2021 year.
Recommendation of the Public Safety and Licensing Committee on 5/26/2020: To approve the renewal licenses for the attached list with the exceptions as listed below:
Egg Plant Café: “Class B” – Call in for formal expression of concern in regards to not maintaining regular business hours, and update on Agent.
Vero’s: “Class B” – Call in for formal expression of concern in regards to not maintaining regular business hours.
Tropical Paradise: “Class B” – Call in for formal expression of concern for not having an operating business location.
HIAV (Lokal): “Class B” – Call in for formal expression of concern for not having an operating business location for over two years.
Midtown Market: Class “A” - Defer to next Public Safety and Licensing Committee meeting due to not turning in a renewal application.
Rock Inn: (Concern from meetings in March about not being open) “Class B” – Call in for formal expression of concern in regards to not maintaining regular business hours.
Beachside Oasis: Class “B” pub facility - Defer to next Public Safety and Licensing Committee meeting due to not turning in a renewal application.
Jalisco & Michoacan: Class “B” -Defer to next Public Safety and Licensing Committee meeting due to not turning in a renewal application.
Whey Chai Cuisine: (No application turned in, they are closed, did not put on renewal list) Class “B” & Class “C” – Call in for formal expression of concern in regards to not maintaining regular business hours.
American Legion Post #546: (No application turned in) “Class B” – Defer to next Public Safety and Licensing Committee meeting due to not turning in a renewal application.
