Subject: (Direct Referral) Licensed Premise Report and DRC Reports for 5/23/2011 meeting.
Recommendation of the Public Safety and Licensing Committee on 5-23-11: It was requested the police department give the committee an updated report on the homicide on 5-10-11 at Peg & Lou's, 3113 Douglas Avenue after the investigation is complete.
Committee members requested the appearance of the owner/agent of The Club, 1240 Washington Avenue regarding the incident on 5-6-11. It was also noted that the police department and the City Clerk's Office make sure the name is listed as "The Club" not Azteca Club as being shown on the licensed pemise report.
It is requested that a 2 year history report be submitted with the renewal application for The Place on 6th.
Committee members requested Attorney Weber to follow-up on the incident at The Tropical, 1510 Junction Avenue which occurred about a year ago and report his findings to the committee.
Motion made by Alderman Helding seconded by Alderman Kaplan that the balance of the report be received and filed.
