Recommendation of the Public Works and Services Committee on 12-9-08: That the special assessment for the construction of the mainline sanitary sewer at 211 Fifteenth Street be amended in accordance with State Statute 66.0903(3) and in accordance with previous City assessments including the 1981 assessment on Homestead Avenue. Recommendation of the Public Works and Services Committee on 12-9-08: That the special assessment for the construction of the mainline sanitary sewer at 211 Fifteenth Street be amended in accordance with State Statute 66.0903(3) and in accordance with previous City assessments including the 1981 assessment on Homestead Avenue. This action will reduce the property owner's share of the sanitary mainline assessment from $26,235.00 to $4,372.50. The City's share of the cost will be $21,862.50, for which sufficient funds are available in Account 906.000.5310, Sanitary Sewer.
 
Further recommend that the communication be received and filed.
 
Fiscal Note: The assessment for paving and for the sanitary sewer laterals will remain as originally approved. The only change is the reduction for the property owner of the assessment for the sanitary sewer mainline as indicated above.
