(Res. 12-2960) Recommendation of the Finance & Personnel Committee on 2-13-12: Recommend that Racine County Case No. 11-CV-0778, Rebecca Turk, et al v City of Racine, et al be settled in for $220,000 on the condition that CVMIC, our insurer, also approve the settlement,and that $40,000 be transferred from account 101.990.5970, Contingency, to account 101.990.5910, Judgments and Claims. Fiscal Note: The $220,000 settlement will be paid by the City and our insurer, CVMIC. The City’s deductible in this case is $175,000 with CVMIC funding the remaining $45,000.
