Title
Permission be granted, with stipulations, for the Fire Chief to donate surplus equipment, HazMat equipment truck, to Gateway Technical College
Resolved, that the the Fire Chief be granted permission to donate surplus equipment to Gateway Technical College for use in their Fire Science education program, contingent upon the following stipulations:
1. Gateway Technical College cannot ever sell or donate the vehicle to another fire department in compliance with our FEMA grant guidance.
2. Gateway Technical College signs a hold harmless agreement with the City over the donation of the vehicle. The vehicle is donated "as is."
3. Gateway Technical College arrange for a sign to be placed on the vehicle indicating the vehicle was donated by the "City of Racine Fire Department."
