Title: Subject: Communication from the Assistant Director of City Development transmitting the Homeless Assistance Coalition's recommended distribution of 2010 Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG) funds and requesting a review and recommendation. (Grant Control # 2009-071) (Res.10-2031) Recommendation of the Community Development Committee on 5-12-10: That 2010 Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG) funds be allocated as shown on the attached table. Further recommends that the appropriate city officials be authorized and directed to execute and submit the appropriate documents on the city's behalf to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to secure the city's 2010 Emergency Shelter Grant funds. Further recommends that the appropriate city officials be authorized to execute third-party contracts with agencies and organizations approved for use of 2010 Emergency Shelter Grant funds. Fiscal Note: The city will receive a grant in the amount of $88,108.
