Title: Stipulations for Cruz In For the Cause Benefit Resolved, that permission be granted to Redline Tavern Corporation, 1200 N. Wisconsin Street, to close N. Wisconsin Street from Hamilton Street to Hubbard Street, on Saturday, August 18, 2007, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., for the 4th Annual “Cruz In For the Cause” Benefit for Safehaven of Racine, with the following stipulations: A. A hold harmless agreement be executed; B. Proof of liability insurance be filed prior to this event; C. Any overtime costs incurred by any City department be charged to the sponsor; D. The sponsor shall notify all abutting property owners at least seventy-two (72) hours in advance of this event; E. No alcoholic beverages will be sold and/or dispensed within the street right-of-way; F. Any tents placed on the public right-of-way shall not be anchored by any means to the roadway surface; G. Resolved, that permission be granted to Redline Tavern Corporation, 1200 N. Wisconsin Street, to close N. Wisconsin Street from Hamilton Street to Hubbard Street, on Saturday, August 18, 2007, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., for the 4th Annual “Cruz In For the Cause” Benefit for Safehaven of Racine, with the following stipulations:

 

A. A hold harmless agreement be executed;

B. Proof of liability insurance be filed prior to this event;

C. Any overtime costs incurred by any City department be charged to the sponsor;

D. The sponsor shall notify all abutting property owners at least seventy-two (72) hours in advance of this event;

E. No alcoholic beverages will be sold and/or dispensed within the street right-of-way;

F. Any tents placed on the public right-of-way shall not be anchored by any means to the roadway surface;

G. The sponsor shall pay a $250.00 special event fee.

 

Further resolved, that the Commissioner of Public Works/City Engineer and Chief of Police provide limited assistance, in the interest of public safety, to implement this event.

 

 

Fiscal Note: There will be nominal costs to various City departments, on a regular shift basis, in implementing this event.
