Subject: Communication sponsored by Alder Horton, on behalf of the Public Health Department, requesting permission to enter into an agreement and accept $35,000 from the Wisconsin Coastal Management Program for Continuous Monitoring of Water Quality Parameters in the Root River (Control #00584).
Recommendation of the Finance and Personnel Committee on 08-26-2024: That the Public Health Department be authorized to enter into an agreement and accept funding from the Wisconsin Coastal Management Program for Continuous Monitoring of Water Quality Parameters in the Root River (Control #00584).
Fiscal Note: Grant amount is $35,000. The City will provide a soft match ($52,774) in the form of personnel salaries & fringe, existing river monitoring supplies, and overhead costs.
