Title: Subject: Communication from the Commissioner of Public Works/City Engineer submitting an amendment to the KRM resolution to provide additional funding. (Res.09-1388) Recommendation of the Public Works and Services Committee on 4-28-09: That Amendment No. 2 to the agreement entitled "Cooperative Agreement to Conduct Advanced Planning, Environmental Studies, and Other Activities Attendant to the Proposed Commuter Rail Passenger Train Service in the Kenosha-Racine-Milwaukee Corridor" to increase the City of Racine's share from $16,677.00 to $22,500.00, be approved. The City's share of the cost can either be in the form of a cash payment or in-kind services. Fiscal Note: There are funds available in the Capital Improvement Program to pay 100% of this amendment. However, the Commissioner of Public Works/City Engineer's services is a member of the technical advisory committee and, therefore, his wages are accounted for to meet the in-kind service alternative.
