Title: Ordinance No. 25-09 To create Sec. 46-38 of the Municipal Code of the City of Racine, Wisconsin relating to Purchasing Procedure - Purchasing Coalition. The Common Council of the City of Racine, Wisconsin do ordain as follows: Part 1: Sec. 46-38 of the Municipal Code of the City of Racine, Wisconsin is hereby created to read as follows: “Sec. 46-38 Purchasing Coalitions When it is in the best interest of the City of Racine and consistent with competitive purchasing practices and regulations set forth in Chapter 16, Wis. Stat., the purchasing agent may enter into agreements with purchasing agents of the federal government or of any other state or municipality or group of municipalities under which any of the parties may agree to participate in, administer or conduct purchasing of materials, supplies, equipment, permanent personal property or contractual services.” Part 2: This ordinance shall take effect upon passage and the day after publication. The Common Council of the City of Racine, Wisconsin do ordain as follows:
 
Part 1:
 
Sec. 46-38 of the Municipal Code of the City of Racine, Wisconsin is hereby created to read as follows:
 
"Sec. 46-38      Purchasing Coalitions
 
When it is in the best interest of the City of Racine and consistent with competitive purchasing practices and regulations set forth in Chapter 16, Wis. Stat., the purchasing agent may enter into agreements with purchasing agents of the federal government or of any other state or municipality or group of municipalities under which any of the parties may agree to participate in, administer or conduct purchasing of materials, supplies, equipment, permanent personal property or contractual services."
 
Part 2:
 
This ordinance shall take effect upon passage and the day after publication.
