Subject: (Direct Referral) Communication from Alderman of the 4th District requesting to discuss complaints, and numerous incidents at the "Winner's Circle" Tavern located at 1403 Superior Street.
Recommendation of the Public Safety & Licensing Committee on 11-12-07: Mr. Mike Williams (owner) of Winners Circle, 1403 Superior Street be requested to appear at the next Public Safety & Licensing meeting November 26, 2007 to address these concerns. The Police Department will provide committee with a 12 month history of calls at this establishment and the item be deferred until that time.
Recommendation of the Public Safety & Licensing Committee on 11-26-07: That the item be deferred for 30 days and Mr. Williams will work with Lt. Purdy and Alderman Kaplan to come up with a resolution to the problems and report back to the committee on the measures being taken to prevent such problems in the future.
Recommendation of the Public Safety & Licensing Committee on 1-07-08: That the agents of the following establishments, Rosie's, Double D's and American Legion including the agent of Winner's Circle (Mike Williams), Officer Hanke, the Community Policing Officer and Alderman Kaplan meet to discuss what solutions can be taken to address the on-going incidents and they bring the item back before this committee with their results.
Recommendation of the Public Safety and Licensing Committee on 4-13-09: That the item be received and filed.
