Subject: Communication from the Public Health Administrator requesting permission to accept additional consolidated grant funding from the State of Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services (Grant Control No. 2006-030) in the amount of $13,310 to be utilized for the preparedness pandemic influenza program.
Recommendation from the Board of Health 06-13-06: That the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized and directed to enter into an amended contract with the State of Wisconsin DHFS that will increase the total funding by $13,310. The additional funding will be used for pandemic influenza preparedness.
Fiscal Note: The pandemic influenza component of the consolidated grant is $13,310. As a result of the amended contract, the total amount of the con-grant increased from $339,924 to $353,234. There is no match required on the part of the city.
