ORDINANCE NO. 26-06

To create Sec. 66-670 of the Municipal Code of the City of Racine, Wisconsin relating to Offenses - Sale or gift of cigarettes or tobacco products to minors prohibited.

The Common Council of the City of Racine do ordain as follows:

Part 1:

Sec. 66-670 of the Municipal Code of the City of Racine is hereby created to read as follows:

"Sec. 66-670.  Procurement prohibited.

(a)  Except as provided in sec. 66-667, no person may intentionally procure for, sell, dispense, or give away cigarettes or tobacco products to a minor.

(b)  Whoever violates this section shall forfeit not more than $100.00."

Part 2:

This ordinance shall take effect upon passage and the day after publication.
