Subject: (Direct Referral) Communication from the City Attorney requesting authority that upon receiving notice of the incumbent municipal court judge’s resignation, in accordance with past practice, the Human Resources Department solicit and accept applications for the temporary appointment of a municipal court judge and present a recommended candidate to the Common Council, for approval pursuant to Wisconsin Statute sec. 8.50(4)(fm).
Recommendation of the Finance and Personnel Committee on 4/11/16: The Committee directed the Human Resources Department to solicit and accept applications for the temporary appointment of a municipal court judge and present all qualified candidates to the Committee of the Whole for consideration.
