AN ORDINANCE
To rezone 2415, 2419, 2423 and 2425 Douglas Avenue from B-1 Neighborhood Convenience District to R-3 Limited General Residence District.
Recommendation: That the ordinance be adopted.
Body
To amend the map of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Racine.
The Common Council of the City of Racine do ordain as follows:
Part 1:
That the properties located at 2415, 2419, 2423 and 2425 Douglas Avenue, and more particularly described as follows:
“Begin at a point along the west line of Douglas Avenue which is 118.31 feet north of the north line of Layard Avenue; thence travel north to the south line of Romayne Avenue; thence travel 120 feet east along said line; thence travel south 107.12 feet; thence travel west 25 feet; thence travel south 50 feet; thence travel west 127.83 feet to the point of beginning of this description. Said land being in the City of Racine, Racine County, Wisconsin”
be rezoned from “B-1” Neighborhood Convenience District, to “R-3” Limited General Residence District, and designated as Supplement No. _______, which Supplement is hereby made a part of this ordinance.
Part 2:
This ordinance shall take effect upon passage and the day after publication.
