Title: Ord. 12-08 To create Sec. 2-455 of the Municipal Code of the City of Racine, Wisconsin relating to Appointment of election officials. The Common Council of the City of Racine do ordain as follows: Part 1: Section 2-455 of the Municipal Code of the City of Racine is hereby created to read as follows: “Sec. 2-455. Election Officials. The number of election officials in each polling place in the City shall be not less than five (5) inspectors or more than (7). Pursuant to Wis. Stat. sec. 7.30(1), the City of Racine shall allow for the selection of two (2) or more sets of officials to work at different times on election day and permits the Clerk or his/her designee to establish different working hours for different officials assigned at the same polling place. Any inspector shall, when necessary or required by law, perform the duties of or act as Clerk of Election or Ballot Clerk.” Part 2: This ordinance shall take effect upon passage and the day after publication. The Common Council of the City of Racine do ordain as follows:
 
Part 1:
 
Section 2-455 of the Municipal Code of the City of Racine is hereby created to read as follows:
 
"Sec. 2-455.  Election Officials.  The number of election officials in each polling place in the City shall be not less than five (5) inspectors or more than (7).  Pursuant to Wis.
