Title: RACINE BOAT & RV SHOW USING WALKER SITE PARKING LOT AND CLOSE COLUMBUS CAUSEWAY RESOLVED, that permission be granted to Recreational Leadership Company, Inc., to use the Walker site parking lot for the Racine Boat & RV Show, to be held August 6-14, 2006. FURTHER RESOLVED, that permission be granted to erect a tent in the Walker site parking lot with the stipulation that no stakes are to be installed in the pavement in order to support this tent. FURTHER RESOLVED, that permission be granted to Recreational Leadership Company, Inc., to close Christopher Columbus Causeway, from Lake Avenue east to the water's edge, from Sunday, August 7, 2006, at 8:00 a.m., through Sunday, August 13, 2006, at 10:00 p.m. FURTHER RESOLVED, that permission be granted with the following stipulations: A. A hold harmless agreement be executed. B. Proof of liability insurance be filed prior to this event. C. Any overtime costs incurred by any City department be charged to the sponsor. D. The sponsor...

RESOLVED, that permission be granted to Recreational Leadership Company, Inc., to use the Walker site parking lot for the Racine Boat & RV Show, to be held August 6-14, 2006.
 
FURTHER RESOLVED, that permission be granted to erect a tent in the Walker site parking lot with the stipulation that no stakes are to be installed in the pavement in order to support this tent.
 
FURTHER RESOLVED, that permission be granted to Recreational Leadership Company, Inc., to close Christopher Columbus Causeway, from Lake Avenue east to the water's edge, from Sunday, August 7, 2006, at 8:00 a.m., through Sunday, August 13, 2006, at 10:00 p.m.
 
FURTHER RESOLVED, that permission be granted with the following stipulations:
 
A.  A hold harmless agreement be executed.
 
B.  Proof of liability insurance be filed prior to this event.
 
C.  Any overtime costs incurred by any City department be charged to the sponsor.
 
D.  The sponsor shall pay a $250.00 special event fee.
 
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Commissioner of Public Works/City Engineer and Chief of Police provide limited assistance, in the interest of public safety, to implement this event.
 
 
FISCAL NOTE: There will be nominal costs to various City departments, on a regular shift basis, to assist in implementing this event.
