To amend Secs. 70-37, 70-38 and 70-54 of the Municipal Code of the City of Racine, Wisconsin relating to Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services - Appointments; terms - Powers and authority; Duties.
Part 1:
Sec. 70-37 of the Municipal Code of the City of Racine is hereby amended by deleting the fourth sentence and by adding the following to the fifth sentence in the paragraph: "and all other terms shall be three years."
Part 2:
Sec. 70-38 of the Municipal Code of the City of Racine is hereby amended by inserting the following in the first paragraph after the word “is”: “except as otherwise provided under operating contracts for the golf courses and zoo,”.
Part 3:
Sec. 70-54 of the Municipal Code of the City of Racine is hereby amended by inserting in the following in the first paragraph after the word “shall”: “except as otherwise provided under operating contracts for the golf courses and zoo,”.
Part 4:
This ordinance shall take effect upon passage and the day after publication.
