Ragnar Relay Chicago 2018 Race
Resolved, that permission is granted to the sponsor of the Ragnar Relay Chicago 2018 Race to use certain City streets for the period of 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2018 to 12:00 a.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018, and to use City right-of-way (sidewalks and parking lanes) along the following streets:
Durand Ave. from West Blvd. to Sheridan Rd.;
Sheridan Rd. from Durand Ave. to 24th St.;
24th St. from Sheridan Rd. to Roosevelt Park Dr.;
Roosevelt Park Dr. from 24th St. to 21st St.;
21st St. from Roosevelt Park Dr. to Wisconsin Ave.;
Wisconsin Ave. from 21st St. to 16th St.;
16th St. from Wisconsin Ave. to Main St.;
Main St. from 16th St. to 11th St.;
11th St. from Main St. to Lake Michigan Pathway;
Lake Michigan Pathway from 11th St. to Main St.;
Main St. from Lake Michigan Pathway to Dodge St.;
Dodge St. from Main St. to Michigan Blvd.;
Michigan Blvd. from Dodge St. to Reichert Ct.;
Reichert Ct. from Michigan Blvd. to Lake Michigan Pathway;
Lake Michigan Pathway from Reichert Ct. to Melvin Ave.;
Melvin Ave. from Lake Michigan Pathway to Main St.;
Main St. from Melvin Ave. to Shoreland Dr.;
Shoreland Dr. from Main St. to Erie St.;
Erie St. from Shoreland Dr. to 3 Mile Rd.; and
3 Mile Rd. from Erie St. to Charles St. (Vidian/Cheska Park).
Further resolved, that this permission is granted with the following stipulations:
A. A hold harmless agreement be executed and a $75.00 processing fee paid.
B. A liability insurance certificate be filed prior to this event.
C. Any overtime costs incurred by any City department be charged to the sponsor.
D. The sponsor shall notify all abutting property owners 72 hours in advance of this event.
E. The sponsor shall pay a $250.00 special event fee.
F. If required, sponsor shall be responsible for submitting a Temporary Traffic Control Plan to the Engineering Department for approval, and providing and removing all temporary traffic control devices and detour signs.
