Title: 2014 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Resolved, that the recommended allocation of the 2014 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) is approved; and, if the total grant received exceeds the funds allocated, that the excess be placed in the Local Option Fund; and, if the total grant received is less than funds allocated, that the Local Option Fund be reduced by the amount of the shortfall; and, that the appropriate City officials are authorized and directed to execute and submit to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development the documents required to secure the grants; and, that the appropriate City officials are authorized to execute third-party contracts with the agencies approved for the use of the funds.
