Permission granted to negotiate and acquire property in Uptown Area
Resolved, that the City of Racine assume liability for use of non-city owned buildings in the Uptown Area on Washington Avenue for the temporary storage of art materials and equipment, and scaffolding equipment, and for a public relations presentation regarding the art project.
Further resolved, that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized and directed to sign all contracts negotiated by the City Attorney.
Further resolved, that permission be granted to the City Attorney to negotiate and acquire various property rights for the installation and future maintenance for a piece of mosaic art on the exterior wall of non-city owned buildings in the Uptown Area on Washington Avenue, and that liability waivers are also authorized.
