Title: Allocation of 2009 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funds Resolved, that the allocation of Community Development Block Grant funds for public and non-public service activities be approved. If funds received are in excess of those allocated, the funds be placed in the Local Option Contingency Fund, and if the funds received are less than those allocated, the Local Option Contingency Fund be reduced accordingly. Further resolved, that the appropriate City officials be authorized and directed to execute and submit the appropriate documents on the City's behalf to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to secure the City's 2009 Community Development Block Grant funds. Further resolved, that the appropriate City officials be authorized and directed to execute third-party contracts with agencies approved for the use of the 2009 Community Development Block Grant funds. Fiscal Note: The 2009 Community Development Block Grant is estimated to be $1,975,000.
