APPLY FOR GREAT LAKES BASIN WATERSHED RESTORATION PROGRAM GRANT

RESOLVED, that the City Engineer be granted permission to apply for a Great Lakes Basin Watershed Restoration Program Grant for Soil Erosion and Sediment Control from the Great Lakes Commission.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized and directed to enter into the grant agreement for Streambank Stabilization at Lincoln Park. The total cost of this project is $130,000.00 of which the grant will pay 50%, or $65,000.00. The City's share of the project will be paid for through the Stormwater Utility as part of its permit requirements.

Funds are available to cover the cost of the City's share of the project.
