Further recommend that the Commissioner of Public Works/City Engineer be authorized and directed to submit a letter of support to provide the necessary documents regarding the City's fleet and fuel usage. Fiscal Note: The purpose of this program is to encourage implementation of biodiesel fuel, idle emission technology, and/or diesel emission reduction equipment. At this time it is anticipated that the grant will cover the additional cost of purchasing biodiesel fuels.
