Title: Permission for Commissioner of Public Works to revise CMAQ Grant project limits for Lake Michigan Pathway Resolved, that the Commissioner of Public Works/City Engineer be authorized and directed to request from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation that the CMAQ grant for construction of a bicycle/pedestrian pathway on the Walker Site as part of the pathway project be substituted with construction of a bicycle/pedestrian pathway from DeKoven Avenue along the lake front to the southerly limits of the City of Racine at 24th Street and from Augusta Street to Melvin Avenue with linkage to the existing off street path which was constructed during Phase II of the Lake Michigan Pathway project. Fiscal Note: The CMAQ grant was previously approved in the amount of $1,278,750.00, with federal participation in the amount of $1,023,000.00 and the local share in the amount of $255,750.00. The alternate project, as described, will fall within these budget constraints.
