Subject: (Direct Referral) Communication from Mayor Mason proposing that Resolutions 0645-21 and 0864-21 be amended to allow City of Racine governmental bodies to return to in-person meetings and be rescinded effective April 20, 2022.
Recommendation of Mayor Mason on 03/01/2022: That City of Racine governmental bodies return to in-person meetings on a phased-in basis. Specifically, the Common Council of the City of Racine shall return to in-person meetings effective March 15, 2022; and all Committees of the Common Council, and all other Committees, Boards, Commissions, and Authorities of the City of Racine, shall return to in-person meetings effective April 20, 2022. In addition, the action of the Common Council Resolutions 0645-21 and 0864-21to suspend operation of Racine Ordinances chapter 2, article XI, shall be terminated according to the same schedule as the return to in-person meetings.
