Title: Subject: Communication sponsored by Mayor Mason and Alder Maack, on behalf of the Downtown Racine Corporation, requesting use of City right-of-way for the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday, March 14, 2026. Recommendation of the Public Works and Services Committee on 01.27.26: That, the Public Works and Services Committee having found that the standards for parade permit issuance set forth in Racine Ordinances section 82-39(f) have been met, permission shall be granted to the Downtown Racine Corporation to close Ontario St., Main St. between State St. and 6th Street, 6th St. between Main St. and City Hall, on Saturday, March 14, 2026, for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade subject to the attached stipulations and subject to the conditions set forth in Racine Ordinances section 82-39(g). Fiscal Note: There will be nominal costs to the various City Departments, on a regular shift basis, to assist in implementing this event.
