Title: City of Racine’s objection to the State’s implementation of increased fees impacting the disposal of solid waste WHEREAS, the State of Wisconsin is in the process of enacting AB 75, State Budget Bill; and WHEREAS, the Bill contains drastic increases in municipal fees for disposal of solid waste and other tipping fees; and WHEREAS, the City of Racine simply cannot afford such increases. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the City of Racine be authorized and directed to send a letter to all Racine delegates of the State legislature objecting to the increased fees. WHEREAS, the State of Wisconsin is in the process of enacting AB 75, State Budget Bill; and
 
WHEREAS, the Bill contains drastic increases in municipal fees for disposal of solid waste and other tipping fees; and
 
WHEREAS, the City of Racine simply cannot afford such increases.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the City of Racine be authorized and directed to send a letter to all Racine delegates of the State legislature objecting to the increased fees.
