Title: Subject: Communication from the Root Pike Watershed Initiative Network requesting to rent office space in the City Hall Annex. (Res.10-2004) Recommendation of the Public Works and Services Committee on 4-27-10: That the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized and directed to enter into a lease agreement with the Root-Pike Watershed Initiative Network for 600 square feet in Room 114 at the City Hall Annex at a rate of $3.96 per square foot. The term of the lease will be June 1, 2010 through December 31, 2010 with annual renewals. Further recommends that should it be necessary to construct a wall in order to allow leasing the remaining portion of this area, that the Root-Pike Watershed Initiative Network bear the expense not-to-exceed $500.00. Fiscal Note: This rental agreement will result in $1,386.00 of additional revenue to the City of Racine in 2010.
