Title
Permission granted to Douglas Avenue Business District to paint trolley poles and install hanging banners along Douglas Avenue
Resolved, that permission be granted to the Douglas Avenue Business Improvement District to paint the street lighting and trolley poles along Douglas Avenue, from Yout Street to Goold Street, and that they be granted permission to install hanging banners from the street light poles subject to the Policy on the Installation of Banners on City-Owned Street Light Poles and with the following stipulations:
A. Douglas Avenue BID conduct testing for lead based paints and provide the results to the City of Racine.
B. Douglas Avenue BID provide all necessary traffic controls.
C. Douglas Avenue BID pay for the necessary removal and replacement of all traffic signs currently mounted on the aforementioned poles.
D. Douglas Avenue BID provide a Hold Harmless Agreement and a Certificate of Liability Insurance.
Fiscal Note: There will be no cost to the City of Racine in the granting of this request.
