Title: Permission granted to Racine Yacht Club to utilize parking area at North Rooney Recreational Area and City-owned parking lot south of Barker Street between August 6-13, 2010, for the U.S. National F-18 Catamaran Sailing Championships Resolved, that the Racine Yacht Club be granted permission to utilize the parking area at the North Rooney Recreational Area and the City-owned parking lot south of the eastern terminus of Barker Street, between August 6-13, 2010, for the U.S. National F-18 Catamaran Sailing Championships. Further resolved, that permission be granted with the following stipulations: A. A hold harmless agreement be executed; B. Proof of liability insurance be filed prior to this event; C. Any overtime costs incurred by any City department be charged to the sponsor; D. The sponsor shall notify all abutting property owners seventy-two (72) hours in advance of this event. Resolved, that the Racine Yacht Club be granted permission to utilize the parking area at the North Rooney Recreational Area and the City-owned parking lot south of the eastern terminus of Barker Street, between August 6-13, 2010, for the U.S. National F-18 Catamaran Sailing Championships.
 
Further resolved, that permission be granted with the following stipulations:
 
A.      A hold harmless agreement be executed;
B.      Proof of liability insurance be filed prior to this event;
C.      Any overtime costs incurred by any City department be charged to the sponsor;
D.      The sponsor shall notify all abutting property owners seventy-two (72) hours in advance of this event.
 
Further resolved, that the Commissioner of Public Works/City Engineer, Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department, and Chief of Police provide limited assistance, in the interest of public safety, to implement this event.
 
Fiscal Note:  There will be nominal costs to various City departments, on a regular shift basis, to assist in implementing this event.
