Subject: Communication from Ald. Jones on behalf of the Interim City Engineer, requesting authorization to enter into an agreement with Cobalt Construction Inc., an Illinois corporation, for the use of the alleyway (sidewalk) connecting the 2700 block of Northwestern Avenue and the 1800 block of Neptune Avenue for the purpose of the delivery of construction materials to construct a privately owned retaining wall for the property located at 2710 Northwestern Ave. at the back property line.
Staff Recommendation to the Public Works and Services Committee on 11-10-20: That permission be granted to Cobalt Construction, Inc. to access the City of Racine property located between to 2710 & 2716 Northwestern Ave. and between 1812 & 1806 Neptune Ave. Cobalt Construction, Inc. must submit an engineering plan for access and restoration as well as execute a hold harmless agreement and liability insurance to perform the work.
