Title: Mayor be authorized to appoint a committee for the purpose of studying redistricting of aldermanic districts in the City of Racine and acting as a liaison between the City of Racine and Racine County officials who are studying this matter on a county-wide basis Resolved, that the Mayor be authorized and directed to appoint a committee for the purpose of studying redistricting of aldermanic districts in the City of Racine and acting as a liaison between the City of Racine and Racine County officials who are studying this matter on a county-wide basis. Further resolved, that this committee be empowered to make such recommendations to the Common Council as it deems appropriate in carrying out the legal requirements in said redistricting procedure. Further resolved, that the Department of City Development and City Clerk's Office act as staff for the Redistricting Committee and that all City departments be directed to work with the committee as needed.
