Recommendation of the Public Safety and Licensing Committee on 6-11-07:   The Purchasing Agent be authorized to negotiate and enter into a contract with Philips Medical Systems for the leasing of 6 Philips Heartstart MRx Advanced Life Support monitors, and 10 Philips FRx Automated External Defibrillators for the Fire Department.

Fiscal Note:  $25,000 (Life Support monitors), $14,000 (External defibrillators)  Both amounts will be funded from account #101.300.5770 in 2007.

Subsequent lease payments will be appropriated in subsequent years budgets.
