Subject: Communication submitted by Human Resources Director requesting to reclassify three (3) non-represented positions on the salary classification scale as GR-17. These positions would be Deputy Chief, Deputy City Attorney, and Assistant Commissioner of Public Works - Engineering. Common Council referred the item back to the Finance & Personnel Committee on 07-18-06.
Recommendation of the Finance & Personnel Committee of 03-27-06: The item be deferred.
Recommendation of the Finance & Personnel Committee of 04-24-06: The item be deferred.
Recommendation of the Finance & Personnel Committee of 07-10-06: The non-represented positions of Deputy Police Chief, Deputy City Attorney and Assistant Commissioner of Public Works - Engineering be reclassified from salary classification GR-18 to GR-17 with the stipulation that the Deputy Police Chief positions be held in abeyance until there is a vacancy.
